Focus of Study

The main goal of this master degree in science communication is to prepare specialists who could improve the current position of Russia on the world market of science communication, as well as contribute to the establishment of science communication as an independent academic discipline and help to integrate Russia in the world science communication community.

Course Description

A special attention will be devoted to:

• critical reflection upon existing science communication practices
• evaluation of the potential applicability of international approaches to science communication in Russia
• working with diverse science sources, from press-releases to scientific journals and scientists themselves
• designing science exhibitions
• popularising science through art
• communicating science in a visual way
